When you find the perfect watch, take a few moments to see if it comes with warranty and guarantee what that means, before making the final purchase. Good guarantees ensure that if your watch has any defects will be repaired free of charge, subject to certain conditions. However, the conditions of a warranty covering parts and can vary by manufacturer and seller of the watch.
Find out who can offer you a watch with warranty
Original manufacturer's warranties, the most extensive warranty clock, apply only when you buy a new watch to an authorized retailer. These authorized retailers are permitted to watch manufacturers such as Omega, Timex and Fossil to sell their watches. The watches sold through other channels, second-hand watches and clocks used 'old' are not usually covered by manufacturer's warranty.
Some vendors and retailers also certify their watches. These vendors may provide their own warranties that cover the repair of the goods they sell.
When you buy a watch on MercadoLibre, be sure to check the list to see who provides the guarantee (or if not provided at all). If no warranty information listed, please contact the seller for more information.
Know what the warranty promises clock
The warranty is a contract to repair a watch free of charge under certain conditions. This is not an unlimited guarantee. The warranties typically cover defects in materials and workmanship, but do not cover certain parts, such as bracelets and mesh, normal wear or abuse. For example, the case, glass or glass damaged by excessive use can not be covered. Also the damage caused by misuse, as damage caused by water in a watch is not waterproof, do not cover the terms of a typical warranty.
Some warranties cover only the clock in the country where the watch was purchased, for example, the United States. If you need a watch repaired under warranty, most service guarantees require that you send the watch to specific locations for repair. Try repairing the clock on an authorized, other repairs may void your warranty. You should also know that some warranties require you to pay transportation costs for spares and repair.
Discover the duration of the guarantee of a clock
Be sure to read the warranty terms of the clock. Some manufacturers require that you register your watch as you buy from an authorized dealer to know the duration of the warranty to apply.
